During the 66th International Astronautical Congress in Jerusalem in 2015, the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) initiated an Annual Highlight Paper Writing Competition.
The second edition of this competition is now open, the deadline for paper submission is 1 March 2017. Practitioners and non-student academics with a minimum of five years of space law experience are eligible to participate, and the topic for 2016-2017 is The Outer Space Treaty 1967-2017.
