The Latin American Test Round of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition (the Latin American Regional Competition Test Round) was held for the first time in 2019.
The competition is held entirely in English.
This Competition presents a unique opportunity for teams of 2 to 3 students to engage in matters of public international law of contemporary relevance to outer space, to develop their legal advocacy skills with other top universities from throughout the region and to interact in a unique forum for intellectual and cultural exchange. The Competition is open for law students and students enrolled in schools other than law where space law or public international law forms a part of the teaching program. Each school may send one team.
