Manfred Lachs MC Competition Rules updated for 2020

The Moot Court Committee has released the latest version of the International Rules, which apply to the 2020 competition. Please note an important rule change to Rule 3 (2), which now provides: “Students eligible to compete include but are not limited to candidates for an LL.B, LL.M, J.D. or equivalent degree, but shall exclude Ph.D. students and students who received an LL.B, LL.M, J.D. or equivalent degree three or more years prior to January 1 of the competition year.”

This rule change has been approved by the IISL Board. In general, it limits participation to current law students and those who received their law degree within three years of the competition. Any questions on this rule change should be directed to the Moot Court Committee.

The latest version of the International Rules can be found here and on our Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition page.
