The second IISL/IAA Space Law and Policy Symposium will take place in Toulouse on 26 June. The main theme of the symposium is Space Sustainability, and the day will be divided into 4 main sessions:

• Towards effective sustainability for outer space activities: institutional parameters; observers' perspectives
• Sustainable use of the radio spectrum
• Responding to Space Situational Awareness and space debris
• Transposing sustainability into effective legal solutions

A keynote will be given by Gérard Brachet, President of the Académie de l'Air et de l'Espace. Other presentations will be given by representatives of CNES, Astrium, ESA, Marsh, Secure World Foundation, universities and other institutions.

After the symposium, ESA and Astrium will co-sponsor a networking cocktail organised by Women in Aerospace Europe.

We hope to welcome many of our members in Toulouse on the 26th.
