On 2 December 2010, the Fifth Eilene M. Galloway Symposium on Critical Issues in Space Law took place at the Cosmos Club, Washington D.C., United States.

The title of the Symposium was Article IX of the Outer Space Treaty and Peaceful Purposes: Issues and Implementation.
