During the 2008 IISL Board of Directors elections, Prof. Dr Elisabeth Back Impallomeni, Prof. Dr Stephan Hobe, Prof. Dr Vladimir Kopal, Prof. Jose Monserrat, Filho and Prof. Dr Frans G. von der Dunk were re-elected.

Prof. Kopal was also re-elected as Vice-President, and Prof. Hobe was elected as the new Treasurer, replacing Prof. von der Dunk.
