The final round was held at the North Gauteng High Court, with Dr. Tare Brisibe, Chairman of the Legal Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space presiding. The Obafemi Awulowo University was declared the winner of the African Region, and the University of Pretoria was the runner-up.
